The four main selling points are as follows.
It is sunny, dry and has two different islands to climb on both Malta and Gozo. It is easy to fly there from Europe only 2 hours. There is public transport to the crags or you could rent a car fairly inexpensively. There are lots of great places for local snacks (Pastizz), Italian food(pizza), many great Indian places (because of all the Indian workers) and many takes on greasy british cuisine. The main holiday season is summer so there are lots of accommodations available!
